I'm going to pour out my mind now.

THOUGHTS
I've been thinking about subscribing ang finally getting serious with my art. I have plans to illustrate stories or print a card series for next holiday season. Or maybe a pack of different cards for different holidays. I could certainly get stuff printed and sold if I was serious, since my uncle works with that sort of stuff.


I'm really unhappy with the stuff in my gallery. I draw differently than what you see. I could do so much better if I devoted the time. Unfortunately, a lot of time after school is spent on DA. Although watching all you guys has improved my art so much, I have no time to seriously draw and paint. When I get a subby, filtering out the stuff I want to see will be so much easier. *It will be on my new account, Appaloosa.

IN REGARD TO RECENT *OMG* DRAMAS

ART THEFT- I heard about and saw this French forum thing where apparantly a lot of artists stuff was being posted from DA. I agree with some recent journals I read that said you have to act mature in these situations. The artists have KINDLY and RESPECTFULLY asked that their work be taken down. And the people on the site agreed to. Get rid of the "OMFG THEY SHOULD DIE AND GO TO HELL FOR THIS HORRIBLE DEED" attitute.

People are getting pissed with kids copying their art/characters. Isn't that how we ALL learned how to draw? Yes, your characters CAN and WILL be copied if you post your art online. It's a risk we all take.

REMEMBER THIS: We all take a risk when we post art online.

LEAVING: A lot of great artists have been leaving lately. People have to post these long, whining journals about how horribly they were treated here. Yah, there are a lot of crap commenters around. You have to learn to DEAL WITH IT.

We're all here ultimately for one reason, whether you admit it or not, and that is to feed our egos of course!

GIVE ME LOTS OF LOOOOVE COMMENTS AND MAKE MY EGO FAT LIKE A BALLOON I SAY!!!

A lot of them will be back, you know you love it!

ALSO, I forgot my 1 year DA anniverary. :C It was Feb. 4. I was planning on making it a big deal and doing a pic pic project for it. So much for that.
